DeCA mandatory in Spain from 5th October 2026

Dear Spanish Supplier Partner,

As established by the Spanish Sustainable Mobility Law (Ley 9/2025), the Electronic Administrative Control Document (DeCA) will be mandatory created in digital format in Spain from 5 October 2026.

The emission of the DeCA is required exclusively for the transport of goods in Spain.

For suppliers who are in charge of the transport: the creation and issuance of the DeCA remains under supplier's responsibility.

For suppliers who are NOT in charge of the transport: the creation of the DeCA is under Iveco carriers’ responsibility but we kindly ask you to verify that the information related to your company and the goods supplied is accurately reflected in the DeCA.

We kindly ask you to ensure that the necessary processes, systems and operational arrangements are in place and that any logistics partners involved in your shipments are prepared accordingly.

Taking the necessary actions in advance will help ensure a smooth flow of shipments and deliveries to IVECO Group locations in Spain.
